drivers could be risking a fine of as much
as £1,000 and three to six points on their
licence because they don't know how much
they can legally tow.
Drivers who passed their test after
January 1, 1997 and have a B category only
on there licence are limited to towing a
trailer with a MAM of 750kg or less.
In practice, this means a younger driver
towing a caravan, horsebox or trailer may
well be breaking the law.
